Undertaking of the Innocent
Germany was being torn asunder by the power hungry rule of Adolf Hitler, as he put his 'final solution' for the Jewish problem into action.
Ethan, a Jewish lad of thirteen, and his sister Tirzah, age eight, were helping their grandmother Shamira, when they received word that the SS had taken truckloads of Jews away to unknown destinations. This time Shamira's own son and his wife were among them.
Helped by Helmuth and Geona Diefenbaker, Shamira was able to take her grandchildren into hiding. It was there they learned how, under the harshest of circumstances, people are given the opportunity to follow their faith in God by helping others. Or they could submit to the pressures of corruption, and assist Hitler in his 'final solution'.
