Ever sense I was in grammar school I've been interested in photography. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. If this is true, then I've captured millions of them throughout the years with my cameras. I started out with a brownie box camera, and used my monthly allowance of ten cents to have the film developed. I can't say I was a prodigy in this field, for most of my work ended up on the cutting room floor. However, with time, practice, and an eye for what I called melody, my work started looking more like art, and less like something destined for the trashcan. With the invention of the computer, photo and art programs, along with the wonderful DIGITAL CAMERA, now almost anyone now can create their own artwork.
For my birthday my children came together and presented me with a new camera. It came with all the attachments, bells and whistles. It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300K. I'm just now learning how to use it, but in time is will fit me like a comfortable pair of bedroom slippers.
